Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity, self-expression, and a love for art among students while delivering a comprehensive art curriculum. This role involves planning engaging lessons, managing classroom activities, and fostering a positive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach lessons on Art and Art History, using traditional and digital techniques.
- Engage students with various media, including drawing, painting, and graphic design.
- Foster creativity through hands-on instruction and real-world projects.
- Manage the Art Room, maintaining resources and equipment.
- Organize exhibitions to showcase student work within and outside the school.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to address student needs.
- Use technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress, assess their skills, and provide feedback.
- Perform additional duties, such as supervising breaks, attending meetings, and supporting school events.
- Teaching Credential/License
- Strong commitment to innovative teaching and learning practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in IT to support classroom and administrative tasks.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to continuous professional growth.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- IELTS score "6".
- Awareness of current educational trends and developments.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
