Art Director / Concept Artist (Contract To Project Based)3RD UNIT is an UAE-based early stage entertainment fintech company.We are building a digital ecosystem \xe2\x80\x94 a launchpad for creators and a marketplace for creative digital assets \xe2\x80\x94 enabling and democratizing access to investment in early stage entertainment intellectual property (IP).We see an immense opportunity to scout, nurture, and finance nascent creative IPs \xe2\x80\x94 tailoring them from the ground up to seamlessly integrate into film, gaming, and location-based entertainment franchises right at the pre-production stage. We need the right talent to join us to build it.This is an opportunity to join the talent pool of our project-based art directors and concept artists. In this role, you will help define and grow new entertainment IP franchises from the ground up. At 3RD UNIT, unlike roles in organizations with strictly defined rules for their intellectual properties, you will have a larger early impact on the definition of new properties. You will work in a larger, cross-functional team and balance creative ambition, commercial appeal, and speed. You can come from a background in gaming, film, fine arts, or architecture and be a generalist (world/style/experience building) or a specialist (e.g., environments, characters, fashion, artifacts, vehicles, architecture). We seek individuals who are team players with extraordinary taste, creative confidence, and intriguing aesthetics.1.
