PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Arts and Crafts Attendant will be in charge with the sales and customer service tasks necessary to run the role play area. He / She is also responsible with the restocking of the shelves and producing the Arts and Craft\'s general presentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 To always provide clients with the best possible customer service by being courteous and effective. \xc2\xb7 Keeping an eye on shelf stock levels, filling to the necessary standard, and helping with stock counts. \xc2\xb7 Manages the daily operation of Arts and Crafts, manage inventory to make the operation run smoothly. \xc2\xb7 Providing support and preparing a plan for arts and crafts activities. \xc2\xb7 Create functional or decorative objects by hand, using a variety of methods and materials. \xc2\xb7 Develop concepts or creative ideas for craft objects. \xc2\xb7 Sketch or draw objects to be crafted. \xc2\xb7 Develop product packaging, display and pricing strategies. \xc2\xb7 Greeting customers upon their arrival, answering clients\xe2\x80\x99 questions and processing transaction. \xc2\xb7 Keeping the space for arts and crafts projects clean and organized and making it welcoming for the children and the adults who are with them. \xc2\xb7 Generally, looking over the smooth operation of the Role Play area to make it clean and safe for everybody. QUALIFICATIONS and OTHER REQUIREMENTS \xc2\xb7 Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent knowledge, skill or development in the arts and crafts department. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Pro-active, demonstrating initiative and anticipates needs. \xc2\xb7 Must show a high interest and ability in being creative with art/craft activities and making of crafts and ability to communicate that to children on their level. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to work well with kids. \xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate in English language both verbally and in writing. \xc2\xb7 Must be good in drawing, painting, and caricature. \xc2\xb7 Must be child friendly.
