Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ARE-Landscape Architect to join our team! In this role you will participate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of roads ,infrastructure and landscape engineering and architectural assignments including development of plans, schedules, procedures, and construction methods and systems.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
Review roads, infrastructure and landscape work technical packages and provide comments.
Review and comments on the roads, and infrastructure work Engineering submittals (shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, etc.
Prepare reports, manuals and guideline documents pertaining to specific roads, infrastructure and landscape issues as required by the client.
Provide support to the Construction Supervision team and oversee roods, infrastructure and landscape construction services.
Liaise with Design Consultants and Contractors.
Coordinate with other relevant disciplines such as Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects etc.
Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary.
Liaise with Key Stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover of infrastructure and landscape assets on completion of works.
Provide roads, infrastructure and landscape work input to weekly / monthly reports.
Ensure the timely review of all documents submitted by the Consultant and/or Contractor.
Inform the Design Architect and/or Team Leader of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
Participate in all site safety training and comply with all site safety protocols.
Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the Resident engineer/Asst. Resident engineer to issue site instructions for roads ,infrastructure , landscaping and associated items.
Check and measure the performed work in his/her line of work, record and help the Team Leader to display progress vs programmed work.
Ensure correctness and completeness of \xe2\x80\x98As-Built\xe2\x80\x99 drawings within his/her line of work.
Conduct site inspections and provide measures to improve the aesthetics of the site and landscaping works.
Responsible for reviewing the performance of subcontractors to assure contract compliance, the application of accepted construction technology and standards, and the acceptable standardization of materials and supplies.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architectural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in construction and supervision projects
Significant experience in technical reviews and comments on technical design packages.
Proficient in roads and infrastructure , hardscape and landscape detailing such as material selection, design and specifications for all external finishes, level changes, walls, minor structures, etc
Proficient in hardscape detailing such as design and specifications for all external finishes, level changes, walls, minor structures, drainage, water features etc.
Requires a working knowledge of architectural and Landscaping processes, as well as industry practices.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.
