Job Title: Architectural inspector

Experience: 9-13 years in UAE

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an Architectural Inspector who will oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of high-end finishing works, fit-out, and interior design (ID). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in high rise buildings , hospitality projects, and such, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of architectural standards and building codes in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with architectural specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship for finishing, fit-out, and ID works.
• Identify and report any deviations from the approved plans or specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting any non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of site inspections, testing, and project progress.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for review by relevant parties.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architectural inspection, with a focus on high-end finishing works and fit-out & ID projects.

Working Conditions:

• The position requires regular on-site inspections, which may involve exposure to construction environments.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by project schedules.
