Architectural Draftsman - Dubai

Location: Al Kifaf Area, Near MAX Metro Station.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting companies and extensive experience working on various construction drawings, with a focus on block works, facades, general arrangements (GA), slabs, finishes, expansion joints, and waterproofing.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update architectural drawings (blockwork, facades, GA, slabs, finishes) using AutoCAD or Revit in accordance with project specifications and UAE building codes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure the accuracy and coordination of all construction documents.
• Develop detailed shop drawings for blockwork, facades, and other building elements, including specifications and material schedules.
• Create accurate and clear construction details for expansion joints and waterproofing systems.
• Conduct constructability reviews to identify potential issues and ensure project feasibility.
• Participate in design meetings and provide technical input as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive archive of all drawing revisions and project documents.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and material estimation for projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest construction methods and technologies relevant to architectural drafting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field (minimum).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman in a contracting company environment.
• Proven experience working on various construction drawings, including block works, facades, GA, slabs, finishes, expansion joints, and waterproofing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (essential).
• Excellent understanding of UAE building codes and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
