Architectural Draftsperson

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and other data provided by engineers or designers.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to develop 2D and 3D models of products or structures.
- Prepare and update documentation such as bills of materials, assembly instructions, and specifications.
- Review and modify designs to correct errors or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development of prototypes and perform testing as needed. Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, SolidWorks, or Sketchup.
- Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with system design and drafting principles.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Grasshopper or other parametric design tools is a plus.
