Develop detailed 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD) based on architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and designers.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure BIM models are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Incorporate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) elements into architectural models and coordinate clashes to resolve conflicts.
Generate 2D drawings, sections, and elevations from BIM models for construction documentation.
Assist in the preparation of project presentations and visualizations using BIM for client meetings and reviews.
Maintain and update BIM libraries, templates, and standards to ensure consistency across projects.
Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems.
Stay updated with industry trends, software updates, and best practices related to BIM modeling and architectural design.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role in architectural projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into accurate 3D models.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
