Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Architect to undertake design development and delivery of our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members and external consultants to ensure the delivery of exceptional design solutions that align with our brand vision. This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to collaborate with our UK-based team from abroad however the successful candidate will need to have a very good understanding of UK Building Regulations and prior experience of working on development projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the architectural design process for residential and mixed-use developments across RIBA stages 0-7 maintaining high-quality construction standards and compliance with relevant space standards, building regulations, fire safety strategies etc.
• Conduct thorough research on local planning requirements and ensure all designs meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of planning applications and documentation for submission to Local Planning Authorities.
• Develop and manage relationships with Contractors, Vendors and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement construction drawings to enhance project value without compromising quality, identifying cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and support their professional development.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the design team.

Qualifications & Experience

Education :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.

Experience :

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in architecture in residential developments.
• Proven track record of managing projects from concept to completion in the UK.
• Experience of working with UK regulations, building codes, and planning policies is compulsory.

Skills :

• Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of BIM
• Sustainable design practices.
