The Role

Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of seasoned Architects to join their team in Ras Al Khaimah at prestigious new project in the Emirate. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Architect on major 5• Hospitality and High Rise projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of Architect for a Main Contracting company working on a major 5• high rise hotel. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client. Key Responsibilities: o Review Tender & IFC information model issued by consultants (2D drawings, BIM models & asset data) as per ISO19650. o Resolve competing and/or conflicting elements into design deliverables & take necessary actions. (RFI, CVI, workshops etc). o Manage the deliverables during the design and construction supervision stages to ensure the adherence to the contract documents and established project's objectives. o Supports the design manager with the establishment of Project Design Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, submittal planning and other documents as required. o Coordinate multi discipline info and ensure liaise with all parties. Ability to foresee constraints and act. o Prepare and raise RFIs & CVIs. Ensure the response clarity on the queries raised. o Assist the Design coordinator in the management of Subcontractor works and point out any technical deviation. o To be responsible for ensuring the modeler/draughtsman have the correct information for updating the shop drawings. Ensure document submittals are completed in a timely manner o Support the Design team in sub-contractor coordination process. o Ability to review & do follow up on DFC, EI or DCR. o Reviews direct work/Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract. o Track and maintain up to date drawing delivery schedule. To ensure all work is passed to the document controller for publishing. o Compile materials submittals and methods of working. o Support the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries. o Liaise with the Planning Department to update the working program o Support the process of design abortive works claims due to IFC changes. o Understand details & support Value Engineering process. o Support & ensure as-built/redline process. o Collect the information for as built drawings, passing it to the modeler to complete the detailed drawing, then checking the details to ensure they are accurate.



Requirements

Architect Experience: o Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent o 5 years' experience in the Architect role in GCC Main Contracting Company o Experience of working in Shared Collaborative Environment (CDE) o Knowledge of AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit for Design review. Collaborative Environment o Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat & MS Office o BIM principles & Basic awareness o Good written & Spoken English. o Revizto/ Navisworks experienced
