Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of interior design projects from concept to completion. This role includes designing layouts, selecting materials, managing client expectations, and ensuring that all projects meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. The Interior Designer will also be required to conduct client meetings and collaborate closely with contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:1. Design Development:

• Create interior design concepts, including floor plans, mood boards, material selection, and color schemes that align with client preferences and project requirements.
• Develop detailed design proposals and presentations to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to clients.
• Produce technical drawings, CAD models, 3D renders, and visualizations to support the design concept.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure designs are practical and feasible.

2. Project Supervision:

• Oversee and manage the execution of interior design projects, ensuring that the design is being implemented according to specifications, standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of projects and ensure quality control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project implementation phase.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building regulations.

3. Cost Management:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for design materials, furnishings, and other project-related expenses.
• Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best pricing for materials and furnishings without compromising on quality.
• Provide cost-effective solutions to clients, optimizing their budgets while maintaining high design standards.

4. Client Relations:

• Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and objectives for each project.
• Present design concepts and recommendations in a professional and engaging manner, explaining the design choices and how they meet the client's vision.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or changes.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of design concepts, materials, and project progress.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding project status, budget adherence, and potential issues.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, invoices, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Certification from a recognized design body.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in interior design, with a focus on both residential and commercial projects.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong creative and conceptual design skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Budgeting and cost management expertise.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
