:The Architectural Foreman is responsible for assisting the Senior Site Manager in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers over site architectural and fit-out works, ensuring work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.
Assesses equipment, materials and labor needed to complete large and/or complex construction tasks for the purpose of ensuring that activities meet the project standards and resolve defined issue(s) while reducing wasted resources.
Assists in the personnel management of resources for the purpose of maintaining staffing needs and productivity of the workforce.
Coordinates the services and activities of outside contractors, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring that work is completed in a safe, effective and timely manner.
Directs assigned staff in resolving complex and/or difficult issues for the purpose of ensuring that work locations are maintained in a safe and effective working environment.
Maintains a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and complying with regulatory requirements and established guidelines.
Maintains assigned tools, equipment, and vehicle(s) for the purpose of ensuring their availability as needed to meet assigned objectives.
Performs a wide variety of skilled construction related activities for the purpose of ensuring that work issues are resolved and projects are completed in a safe, effective and timely manner.
Prepares a variety of project-mandated documents and reports for the purpose of documenting activities and complying with the requirements.
Prioritizes and assigns related work orders to skilled labors for the purpose of ensuring that locations are maintained in a safe working environment meeting guidelines and budgetary limits.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Requirements
5-10-year Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
Education: Degree in Architecture from a recognized University
