Architect - Fit Out (Dubai, On-site)

Are you an experienced Architect - Fit Out looking for a new opportunity? Join our team for a 6-month contract (extendable) and work on exciting retail interior fit-out projects in Dubai!

Location: Dubai (On-site)

Contract Duration: 6 months + (Extendable based on business needs)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop fit out architectural plans, elevations, and sections for premises and other structures.

Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions including the MEP survey.

Collaborate with end users, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.

Review contractor payments, verifying work completed and ensuring compliance with payment schedules.

Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and reports.

Prepare and manage project budgets including estimating cost, tracking expenses and ensuring cost effectiveness.

Conduct site visits -site supervision to monitor fit out work progress (including the civil, MEP works, joinery works, glass cladding ...etc.) and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential delays and proposing solutions.

Coordinate with contractors and landlord to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Utilize AutoCAD skills to prepare and review drawings and BOQs.

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and company quality policies.

Prepare and submit management reports, highlighting project progress, issues, and recommendations.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and project team members, via email and other channels.

Review the consultant & contractor drawing to ensure compliance with architectural design intent and project requirements.

Good experience with the authority's requirement for the fit-out design and execution including the civil and MEP works.

Good experience for the material cost and budgeting requirements for the projects.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in fit-out architectural design (Retail Interior Fit Out preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD & other design software.

Strong design, execution, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication & stakeholder management.
