They are looking to hire an Architect with a proven background in malls, residential, mixed use, community master planning and commercial projects in the Middle East. The successful candidate must have prior experience in client facing roles, as this position is a long-term secondment into a major Developer. The position is based in Dubai.
The Architect will work in the Architecture & Design team on new developments or redevelopments projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs for the project, ensuring they align with client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
The Architect will support in creating the project vision, contribute to the design concept and safeguarding the design intent from concept to delivery.
The position will predominantly focus on delivering high quality design and 3D visualization outcomes through assisting in effective functional planning, customer focused design solutions and enhancement of the brand.
Utilize creativity and technical knowledge to solve design challenges and optimize functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Work closely with client, stakeholders and consultants to understand their goals, preferences, and constraints, and translate those into design solutions.
Present design concepts and proposals to client, incorporating feedback and adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other architects as required, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide guidance and support to junior architects.
Stay up-to-date with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance in all architectural designs.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for approvals and permits.
Oversee and manage the architectural aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Monitor project budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Architecture or similar degree from an accredited institution
5 - 10 years experience
Professional qualifications e.g RIBA, are advantageous.
Proven experience in malls, residential, mixed use, community master planning and commercial projects in the Middle East
Previous experience in client facing roles
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software
Familiarity with BIM systems
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
