This role is a hybrid between technical expertise and business development, requiring an individual who can engage with clients, understand their design and functional needs, and convert leads into successful interior fit-out projects. The Sales Architect will be responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, and providing architectural and design insights to create compelling project proposals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior fit-out industry.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Conduct client meetings to understand their design requirements and project goals.
Prepare and present compelling project proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets.
2. Architectural & Design Expertise
Assess client requirements and translate them into viable interior design concepts.
Work closely with the design team to develop solutions that align with client expectations.
Provide technical insights on material selection, space planning, and feasibility.
Ensure that designs adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and cost constraints.
3. Project Coordination & Client Management
Collaborate with the Estimator, Project Coordinator, and Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.
Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales to execution.
Provide timely project updates and address client concerns proactively.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated with market trends, design innovations, and competitor strategies.
Provide insights to improve sales strategies and product offerings.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles within the interior fit-out industry.
Strong understanding of interior architecture, design principles, and materials.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to create presentations and proposals with strong visual and technical appeal.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software (preferred).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
