Working for our client, a university based in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Architect who will be responsible for designing buildings and then working with relevant teams to bring those architectural visions to life, from initial concept to completed project. We are specifically seeking candidates who have laboratory design and LEED.Responsibilities:

• Develop initial design concepts that align with client needs and project requirements.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, models, and renderings using CAD software.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project coherence.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Handle project documentation, including permits, contracts, and construction plans.
• Apply knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Provide space planning, layouts, and facilities related support for office buildings and labs on the University campuses
• Assign space for office, common, lab, parking spaces.
• Assist with migration plans and sequencing of group-level and individual office moves
• Provide planning support for building renovations and other facilities enhancement projects
• Maintain accurate building and site master drawings reflecting as-built and as-used conditions. Maintain current and historical revision control of drawings.
• Coordinate with all relevant sections of the Facilities to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Operations, as well as coordination with the end-user and any affected parties.
• Adhere to the University\'s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly

Qualifications and Experience:Essential:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Architecture Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Licensed Architect in relevant state or country; LEED accreditation is a plus.
• Experience: Absolute minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management, and specifically Laboratory design
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and structural systems.
• Excellent visual and spatial awareness.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
