• Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations.
• Order Management: Ensuring accuracy in taking orders, noting special requests or dietary restrictions, and conveying orders to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Food and Beverage Delivery: Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely manner, ensuring correct placement of items, and checking back to ensure satisfaction.
• Table Maintenance: Clearing tables of dishes and utensils after customers have finished dining, resetting tables for new customers, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Billing and Payments: Presenting bills to customers, processing payments (cash, credit/debit cards), and handling any issues related to billing.
• Knowledge of Menu: Having a good understanding of the menu offerings, ingredients used, and being able to describe dishes accurately to customers.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
• Upselling: Suggesting additional items such as desserts, appetizers, or drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
• Customer Interaction: Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor with customers, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.
