Understand the brand\'s tone of voice and be able to translate it seamlessly for a native audience, aware of the differences between our Arabic and English audiences.What you\'ll be doing- Manage the translation of the English content into Arabic across all channels including but not limited to landing pages, website/app content, microsites, emails, social media, to optimize the customer experience, contribution to conversion, engagement, page view, bounce rate, time spent on page and click through. - Reinterpret the brand voice for the Arabic audience whilst maintaining an entirely native tone. Ensure the brands tone of voice is accurate, informative and consistent throughout the site. - Liaising with the Online Content Marketing Guru & Online Content Marketing Manager on tonality of copy across the site. - Sub edit and translate the product page according to in-house style guides; checking accuracy of copy against images as well as grammar and spelling. Ensuring all copies are clear and concise and localized where relevant. - Ensuring that the editorial content across all channels reflect the aims, values, house style and tone of each site. - Where possible, check accuracy of upload by checking all click-through functionality, size and fit tabs and dropdowns on the product page. - Support with any other copy update needed on the Arabic web site. - Translate the weekly email copy. - Audit the web site to determine where translations are missing.REQUIREMENTSAbout You Education- Degree in Foreign Languages, Communication or Translation Experience- 4+ years of experience as a translator, copywriter and/or language specialist - Native speaker Arabic and fluent in English, - Experience working in an E-Commerce environment, preferably fashion retail, is a plus.Functional Skills- A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to post-edit and/or translate from English - Good working knowledge of MS Office and CMS systems - Proven experience of digital translating/trans creating and sub editing - Sound knowledge of women\'s luxury fashion, seasonal trends, designers and brands as well as strong commercial awareness - Experience working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities - Self-motivated, takes initiativeABOUT THE COMPANYEstablished in 1979, Al Tayer Group is a privately-held, diversified company with operations in 12 countries in the Middle East and beyond.
