Aldar Academies is seeking an outstanding *Teacher of Arabic (Native and
Non-Native)* for Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing immediately.Muna British Academy is in the heart of the city of Abu Dhabi and was
recently rated Outstanding by ADEK - Abu Dhabi Department of Education
and Knowledge (ADEK) Serving over 700 students from Nursery to year 6, we
follow the National Curriculum of England. The school is a vibrant community.This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of

the region.*Teaching and learning:*
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of the Curriculum for effective
implementation to match learning outcomes.
  • Teaching using appropriate MOE syllabus, materials, and schemes of work.
  • Organizing the classroom provision and learning resources and creating
displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Planning, preparing, and presenting sessions that cater to the needs of
the whole ability range within the class.
  • To plan MOE lessons and sequences of lessons consistently and effectively,
in the long, medium, and short-term, to meet pupils individual learning
needs.
  • Creating a climate for learning that is conducive to delivering
outstanding practice.
  • Motivating students by delivering enjoyable and creative lessons that both
challenge pupils and promote critical thinking.
  • Observing and assessing pupils in line with school assessments.
  • Being reflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progress
made, and adjusting environment, planning, and curriculum to reflect this.
  • Supporting SEN (POD), EAL, and G&T students and ensuring that their needs
are met through differentiation.
  • Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists,
occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, if required, to
best cater to the diverse learning needs of pupils.
  • Facilitating Hybrid / Distance Learning / Face to Face lessons.
  • Ensure the Muna Academy language for learning and attitudes are being
embedded throughout the curriculum.*Assessment and data:*
  • Taking responsibility for student progress in the class. Consistently and
effectively making use of data relating to students prior attainment to
set well-grounded expectations/targets for pupils, monitor their progress,
and give clear and constructive feedback.
  • Meeting requirements for assessments and recording students development
using Target Tracker.
  • Using data gathered from assessments to inform decisions regarding further
planning, provision, and interventions.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on students progress and
development at Parent-Teacher conferences and meetings (PTMs).*Behavior management and duties:*
  • Follow the schools established policies and procedures, e.g., behavior,
code of conduct, and child safeguarding policy.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches that are appropriate to
students needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.
  • Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority,
and act decisively, when necessary, within the schools established
policies.
  • Be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive
attitudes, values, and behavior that are expected of pupils.
  • Have high expectations of good conduct, promoting self-control and
independence of all learners.
  • To ensure a safe and secure environment that allows for appropriate
social, emotional, and academic growth for all students.
  • Carry out duties as directed and within the schools established
policies.*Wider professional responsibilities:*
  • To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning,
assessment, resources, and special events linked to the team.
  • Support in organizing and taking part in school events, outings, and
extra-curricular activities (ECAs) which may take place after school
hours.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers about students achievements
and well-being using school systems/processes such as CPOMS, as
appropriate.
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
  • Run a weekly ECA each term.
  • Take initiative of own professional development to secure high-quality
