Job Description

Arabic Chef Responsibilities



Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff (chefs, cooks, and helpers). Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure smooth operations Monitor staff performance and provide feedback. Responsible for all food production, operation & maintenance of kitchen Ensure food is prepared on time and meets quality standards. Oversee food presentation, portion sizes, and overall consistency. Manage inventory and order supplies to avoid shortages or wastage. Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and functioning properly Assists the Food Safety Team in maintaining and updating all HACCP & ISO documents Ensures that all the monitoring records are filled up and updated on a daily basis. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Train staff on hygiene and safety protocols. Monitor food costs and reduce waste. Assist in pricing menu items based on ingredient costs. Work with management to control kitchen expenses.

Requirements:



Proficiency in Arabic cuisine and cooking techniques

Experience in working in a high-volume kitchen environment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Creativity in developing new dishes and menu items

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
