Job Title: Chef de Partie - Hot Kitchen Section

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Summary: As a Chef de Partie (CDP) in the hot kitchen section, you will be responsible for a specific area of the kitchen which is the hot section. You will ensure that all food produced in your section is of the highest standard and that it is delivered to customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food in your assigned section (e.g., grill, saute, sauces) according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Station Management: Manage and organize your section effectively, ensuring all mise en place is prepared and ready for service.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety practices in your area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef, Head Chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen during service.
• Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring commis chefs and kitchen assistants working in your section.
• Menu Contribution: Provide input and creativity for menu development and specials, considering food cost and seasonal availability.
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels of your ingredients and requisition supplies as needed.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar environment (e.g., fine dining restaurant, hotel kitchen, catering kitchen).
• Skills: Strong culinary skills, including a good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Familiarity with kitchen best practices and procedures.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure during busy periods.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Qualification: ARAB NATIONALITY CAN APPLY
