Arabic Accountant Interior Fit Out

Job Description
:Our client is an international award-winning architecture and interior fit out consultancy and contractor.We are recruiting an Arabic speaking accountant to join their Dubai team.The role is responsible for the daily accounting and project finance for all interior fit out projects.Role Summary
- Financial reporting and analysis- prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports and forecasts.
- Financial accounting - monthly and annual closings; reconcile accounts payable and receivables; ensure timely bank payments; prepare VAT returns; compile balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Manage budgets and report on variance vs actuals.
- Compliance - ensure compliance with all UAE corporate tax and VAT regulations.
- Cash management - manage cash flow to optimize liquidity.
- Payroll - prepare payroll and process through WPS.
- Manage bank relationships.
- Internal financial controls - establish financial controls and ensure and ensure all procurement and finance procedures are adhered to.
- 7 - 10 years accounting and finance experience; minimum 3 years UAE accounting and finance experience in the construction, architecture or interior fit out industry.
- Experience of project finance is a strong advantage.
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and UAE tax / VAT regulations.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
