Job Title - Aquaculture Technician
Location - Al Ain
Salary - AED 5000/- (All Inclusive )

Key Responsibilities:
• Animal Care and Feeding:
• Feed and monitor the health of fish, shellfish, or other aquatic organisms according to established protocols.
• Maintain optimal feeding schedules and practices to promote growth and health.
• Water Quality Management:
• Monitor and maintain water quality parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and salinity.
• Conduct regular water testing and adjust conditions as necessary to ensure optimal habitat conditions for the organisms.
• Facility Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of aquaculture systems, tanks, filters, and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues promptly.
• Data Collection and Record Keeping:
• Keep accurate records of feeding schedules, water quality parameters, and growth rates.
• Compile and report data for research purposes or regulatory compliance.
• Health Monitoring and Disease Management:
• Monitor for signs of disease or stress in aquatic organisms.
• Implement disease prevention measures and treatments under the guidance of a veterinarian or aquaculture manager.
• Harvesting and Stocking:
• Assist with the harvesting, grading, and stocking of aquatic organisms as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation procedures to minimize stress and ensure product quality.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to aquaculture operations.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in aquaculture, marine biology, fisheries, or related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with aquaculture operations or similar work environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Knowledge of aquaculture principles, water chemistry, and aquatic animal biology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse team
