Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis, Discrete Trial Therapy, Natural Environment Teaching and other related therapies to clients as per assigned cases (up to 7 hours of direct therapy per day).
Implement Behavioral intervention protocols as instructed by the Case Supervisor/ BCBA in the intervention plan.
Implement prompt and prompt fading procedures
Implement social skills training to clients (individually or in groups) when needed
Implement Measurement Procedures as applicable, collect data, document data, graph data and analyze childs progress through tracking data on electronic device
Assist with assessment procedures as authorized by BCBA
Describe behavior in observable and measurable terms
Lead BT is responsible to ensure all of their assigned clients have up-to- date client information and data (i.e. Rethink profile, targets, data, programs, reports, and etc..)
BT shall not be giving advise as per BACB guidelines without consulting the BCBA/ Case Supervisor.
Entering session/ clinical notes in a timely manner.
Identify essential components of a written behavior reduction plan, ABC Contingency, Functions of Behavior, and implement Behavior Intervention Plans as instructed
Assist the child in different settings including (self-care, toileting, feeding, grooming etc.)
Actively seek clinical direction from case supervisor/BCBA in a timely manner
Report to case supervisor / BCBA any matter that might affect the client in a timely manner
Ensure supervisors feedback is incorporated into session performance and other related job duties
Effectively communicate with team members, provide handover information precisely and in a timely manner
Responsible for maintaining any gadgets provided by the company (broken device needs to be reported, device needs to be plugged in at the charging station, etc.)
Achieve mandatory Continued Professional Development CPD points that are required.
Support client assessment needs (as necessary)
Qualifications
Masters degree in applied Behavior Analysis.
Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ABA therapist, ideally with children with ASD or related developmental disorders.
Valid DHA or DOH license or eligibility.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and ethical guideline
Additional Information
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
Fluency in English and knowledge of Arabic are additional advantages.
