Application Support Specialist _ Data ApplicationsAdecco Middle East is hiring an " Application Support Specialist _ Data Applications" for one of our prestigious clients based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Title: - Application Support Specialist _ Data Applications
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience level: 5+ years.

IT based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience required.Relevant Certification5+ years of experience at a relevant Technical position in large organizations.
Candidate should be willing to work on roster basis - including weekends/night.
Banking background

Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.
Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in

Application trouble shooting, configuration and maintenance.
Application performance tuning and optimization
Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA
Proactive monitoring and incidents analysis
Experience in Work flow maintenance and Configuration.

Hands on knowledge on Informatica BDM and Power Center for trouble shooting production issues.
Hands on knowledge on Hadoop components for trouble shooting production issues - viz OOZIE, Ambari, PySpark scripting. HDFS commands.
Proficient in writing advanced Hive queries.
Knowledge on relational and non-relation Databases (Sybase IQ, Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo DB, Hive, SAP HANA).
Hands on experience in Unix Command.
Good knowledge of reporting tools viz.Power BI, Tableau.
