About the job Application Manager-USMOur client is a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality metering and packaged process systems for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Generation industries, with a presence in the UK and Russia. They are looking for an Application \xef\xbb\xbfManager to join their team in Dubai.We are looking for someone with expertise in Ultrasonic Metering (USM) and calibration processes. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customer technical enquiries and support related to USM, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently and accurately. This role involves supporting sales and production with project reviews and maintaining comprehensive documentation.Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for customer technical enquiries/support related to USM.
• Take ownership of customer issues, following problems through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, actions, and discussions.
• Assist sales and production teams with project reviews and technical insights.
• Provide technical presentations and write documents/papers as needed.
• Analyze and report technical information effectively.
• Balance multiple projects/orders, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
• Travel worldwide occasionally to provide on-site support and training.

Qualifications:

• Engineering/Instrumentation qualification.
• Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably within Metering.
• Understanding of calibration principles and processes.
• Good technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on attitude with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Self-motivated with the ability to make confident decisions.
• Proficient in electronics, instrumentation, and software.
• IT literacy.
• Experience with flow computers (advantageous).
• Offshore experience (preferable).

• Ability to write clear and concise technical documents and papers.
