Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Could you be the full-time APM Maintenance Engineering Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates we're looking for?Your future roleAs a maintenance engineering manager for our operation and maintenance project, you will take the lead in managing, developing, and driving maintenance activities across the assigned project. In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance teams, system engineers and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of all assets associated with Dubai Airports APM. You will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities are aligned with contractual obligations and are executed in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines. Lead overhauls and Capital Asset Replacement Program (CARP).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approach, reviews projects progress and results; make management decisions.
Lead problem-solving efforts to identify root causes of maintenance issues and develop solutions to prevent their recurrence.
Take charge of the site's overhaul program, ensuring it is executed in line with applicable policies and procedures.
Develop and execute the capital asset replacement program (CARP) on site to ensure equipment is replaced in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve meaningful results for the site.
Identify opportunities for improvement related to maintenance processes and procedures, equipment reliability, and risk reduction, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement changes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote, and maintain a safety culture among the team.
Ensure quality control for all maintenance activities throughout the APM system.
Oversee maintenance-related contracts, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon performance standards and supporting compliance with maintenance and inspection schedules.
Work with engineering, operations, and other departments to identify and rectify equipment and system deficiencies.
Evaluate asset condition periodically and update the maintenance requirements.
Writes project/program plan(s), recommendation(s) and/or finding(s) for all maintenance related activities.
Supervises subordinate personnel including hiring, determining workload, and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance.
Develops and monitors fault tracking processes and trend analyses on all engineering related activities. Supports processes for non-engineering activities.
Prepare cost and schedule estimates on projects in the area of assignment.
Design special tools required for field maintenance or modifications.
Lead special teams or task forces sent to the Field for complex installation, test or retrofit programs.
Prepare complex field change notices or those that require extensive coordination between permanent on-site personnel, Operations, Programs, and the customer. Review proposed designs for maintainability.
Devise test procedures to evaluate equipment performance following modification and repair. Also to conduct or observe operational tests, as required.
Has a working knowledge and utilizes effectively engineering and management computer systems. Maintains awareness of current engineering disciplines, participation in seminars and outside study.
Availability and ability to travel domestically or internationally to aid other Service Delivery Centers.
Other Engineering Management duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:The following tasks will be a shared responsibility with the other Field Service Engineer:
Supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc
Identify the best person for a task, delegate assignments, and direct people as they work.
Manage a work force to ensure fair employment practices.
Work with or contribute to a work group or team to complete assigned task(s)
Coordinate the activities or tasks of people, groups and/or organization(s)
Provide management presence in the absence of the SDC Director and the Manager
Provide other managerial duties as assigned.

10 years of relevant Industry experience
Extensive technical expertise on operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all product lines.
Proven experience with rolling stock systems.
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline required.
Master's degree in engineering or management preferred.
Good analytical and reasoning skills.
Proficient in industry-standard office suites.
Fluent in English
