Role Overview

The Animal Groomer will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall well-being of pets. This on-site position demands a dedicated individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in animal grooming or related fields. The Animal Groomer will be responsible for safely handling and restraining various types of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. Effective communication with pet owners to discern specific grooming requirements is crucial, as is the ability to keep detailed records of grooming sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of pets during grooming sessions.
Safely handle and restrain animals to ensure their comfort and safety.
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their unique grooming preferences and requirements.
Uphold animal welfare standards and employ best grooming practices.
Maintain accurate and organized records of pet grooming sessions.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, including the skillful handling and restraint of animals.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a compassionate approach towards both pets and their owners.
Knowledge of animal welfare principles and familiarity with best grooming practices.
Previous experience in animal grooming or related fields of animal care (minimum 2 years).
Experience in handling various types of pets, including but not limited to cats and dogs, is a definite plus.
