Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install and set up audio-visual equipment, including projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control panels. Regularly inspect and maintain AV equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Perform routine checks, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions with AV equipment and systems. This includes identifying and fixing problems related to sound quality, video quality, connectivity, and software. Keep software, firmware, and drivers up to date for all AV components to ensure security and functionality. Assist end-users in operating AV equipment and systems, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and resolving user issues promptly. Calibrate AV equipment for optimal performance, ensuring that images and sound are of high quality and consistent across various devices. Maintain detailed records of AV equipment, maintenance schedules, and service reports. Create documentation for troubleshooting procedures and user guides. Recommend and implement upgrades or enhancements to improve the functionality and efficiency of AV systems as technology evolves. Conduct quality checks and tests to ensure that AV systems meet performance standards and specifications. Collaborate with other IT or AV professionals to support cross-functional projects and ensure the seamless operation of AV equipment. Work with AV equipment vendors to arrange repairs, order replacement parts, and ensure that warranties are honoured.

Skillful in delegating and managing time, tasks, expectations, and team members across multiple concurrent projects. Possess a solid understanding of workplace technology and AV integration.

Basic Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar AV Project Engineer role. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
