Job Description

The Supervisor for the Aluminum is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the division. This role ensures the efficient production, quality control, and timely completion of projects while maintaining a safe work environment. The supervisor will lead a team of workers, coordinate with other departments, and ensure adherence to company standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabricating aluminum sheets in preparation.
• Trains new workers in performance of tasks, such as stretching, shearing, and trimming aluminum sheets.
• Ensure that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor work processes to ensure that workers comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of production schedules, staffing, and material requirements.
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the aluminum/glass industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum manufacturing processes and quality standards.
