Aluminum & Glass Draftsman
Job Description
We are a leading aluminum and glass company located in the new industrial area of Umm Al Quwain, and we are seeking an experienced Aluminum & Glass Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in drafting and experience working with aluminum and glass products.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed shop drawings for aluminum and glass products
Prepare material take-offs and order materials
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers
Ensure that drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards
Prepare technical submittals for approval by clients and consultants
Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
Attend project meetings as required
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
Familiarity with aluminum and glass fabrication techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
