Bugree Steel & Aluminium Cont is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Aluminium / Mild Steel / Stainless Steel Work Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing work both on-site and within our company facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of metalwork, particularly with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Oversee and manage all metalwork projects on-site and in the company workshop.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Technical Expertise:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel components as per project requirements.
• Operate and maintain various metalworking tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of metalworkers, welders, and fabricators.
• Allocate tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, address concerns, and provide feedback.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and rectify any defects or issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and practices.
• Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site and in the workshop.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
• Assist in preparing project estimates and budgets.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in metalwork or fabrication is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and installation, with a focus on aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Skills:
• Strong technical skills in metal fabrication, welding, and installation.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using metalworking tools and equipment.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
