: Aluminium Fabricator

We are looking for a highly skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will specialize in fabricating and installing a variety of aluminium structures, including pergolas, mashrabiya, gates, pedestrian doors, fencing, louvers, and aluminium kitchen cabinets. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of aluminium fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication
• Measure, cut, and shape aluminium materials to specified dimensions.
• Fabricate aluminium structures such as pergolas, mashrabiya, gates, pedestrian doors, fencing, louvers, and kitchen cabinets.
• Operate machinery and tools including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Assemble fabricated aluminium parts using riveting, welding, and bolting methods.
• Installation
• Install fabricated aluminium structures on-site, ensuring they are securely and accurately placed.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth and efficient installation processes.
• Apply finishes, such as powder coating or anodizing, to completed structures as required.
• Maintenance and Repair
• Inspect aluminium structures for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Provide maintenance services to existing aluminium structures, ensuring longevity and durability.
• Quality Control
• Ensure all fabricated items meet company standards and client specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure high quality and precision.
• Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain quality standards.
• Safety and Compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools.
• Customer Interaction
• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
• Provide professional recommendations based on technical knowledge and client needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an aluminium fabricator or in a similar role.
• Vocational training or certification in aluminium fabrication is a plus.
• Skills and Competencies
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for aluminium fabrication.
• Strong understanding of aluminium properties and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment

• Primarily workshop and on-site environments.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous materials.
• Use of ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to access installation sites.
