ALCM Coordinator will coordinate, supervise certify and ensure the necessary processes relating to aircraft, engine and asset airworthiness data and documentation recording and reporting are conducted to necessary quality standards. To conduct necessary QA processes and oversight in ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulatory, operator legislatory and legally contracted leasing organisation Technical Records policy and standards.In this role, you will:
Administer data and documentation functions and ensure that all legal records pertaining to aircraft operational data, maintenance inputs and asset component compliance data are maintained to recognised standards and approvals as required by the UAE GCAA & other international regulatory bodies.
Supervise Senior Technical Records Assistants on a day to day basis to ensure timely update of aircraft operational and maintenance data into EK Engineering systems, including preparation and distribution of weekly statements of operational and fuel burn-off data to concerned departments and timely archiving of records.
Ensure during daily processing that all aircraft, engine, APU & component assets electronic data and hard copy documentation is retained in accordance with EK, regulatory, and lessor requirements and archived in a manner that guarantees security, safety from damage and enables rapid extraction for reporting or review purposes.
Ensure through internal auditing process (PCA, MCA & ARC activities) the update of aircraft, engine, APU log books and modification record books with operational, maintenance and Airworthiness Directive data, checking this is certified accordingly within the approval scope of QA authorisation scope TR function 1.
To ensure maintenance information used by Engineers and flight crew is accurate take remedial action with regards to discrepancy recording by internal and external engineering personnel and rectify total airframe hours on operational maintenance records i.e. aircraft technical logs, SMI/CRS within the approval scope of QA authorisation TR function 2.
Audit aircraft maintenance work-packs for completeness ensuring discrepancies are corrected in consultation with the concerned sections prior to archiving. Administer `Hard Time\' and \'Time Controlled assets & components and set-up control mechanisms to prevent exceeding permitted limits as set in the approved maintenance schedules.
Update mandatory Airworthiness Directive database records for accomplished ADs and prepare AD status reports to support internal and external regulatory and lessor audit activities. Administer the Airworthiness Directive data records ensuring recording is error free and updated in a timely manner and that all Airworthiness Directives and mandatory requirements are reported such that a continual record of aircraft, components and engine fleet status is available for internal and external business processes.
Suggest and implement improvements to accommodate changes in technological and working practices. Develop, improve and implement processes to continually optimize and reduce cost overheads through implementation of new technology and procedures to best lever maximum efficiencies whilst providing detailed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and implement continuous improvements that ensure effectiveness of LEAN procedures.
Provide continuous development, training plans, mentoring opportunities and skill enhancement feedback to subordinates such that individuals increase their capability, performance and productivity in line with corporate, divisional, departmental and individual LEAN aligned improvements.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
Experience: Engineering / Technical Records / Library
Education: 10 years schooling or equivalent with 6+ years experience
QA authorisation for stamp approval for TR functions 1 & 2 is preferred.
Experience in Aviation records or related technical administration role is required, and experienced in the use of Digital Recording / Archiving Systems would be an advantage.
Sound knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
Ideally, have a working knowledge of Airline/MRO M&E data management & digital documentations systems.
Working knowledge or understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and records including AMM, IPC, AMS / CMS and Work Pack Task cards / reports would be an advantage.
