Album Maker - Assembly & Quality Control

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Album Maker to focus on the technical aspects of album production. This role involves assembling albums, managing materials, and ensuring impeccable quality control. The ideal candidate will have excellent craftsmanship skills and a keen eye for detail to produce premium-quality photo albums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Album Assembly:
• Assemble photo albums with precision, ensuring proper alignment, binding, and finishing.
• Handle various materials such as photo papers, covers, and binding tools to create professional-quality albums.
• Material Management:
• Organize, store, and maintain inventory of album-making materials such as papers, adhesives, and cover fabrics.
• Monitor material stock levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Ensure proper handling of delicate materials to prevent damage.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished albums for any defects, such as misalignments, scratches, or material inconsistencies.
• Ensure all albums meet the company's quality standards before delivery to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the assembly process.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Operate and maintain assembly equipment (e.g., binding machines, cutting tools) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with designers, printers, and other team members to ensure seamless album production.
• Provide feedback or suggestions to improve production efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Prior experience in crafting, assembly, or quality control is preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle tools and materials with care and precision.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for technical equipment.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, bend, or work with hands for extended periods.
• Comfortable handling and lifting materials and equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with album production or related industries.
• Knowledge of binding and finishing techniques.
• Experience in inventory management.
