Job Overview: Qatar Airways in Doha is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Airport Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities at the airport. The Airport Warehouse Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of cargo and materials for our airline operations. Job Responsibilities: Supervise the day-to-day activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and dispatching cargo and materials. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in warehouse operations. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock as needed. Plan and organize warehouse layouts and storage areas to optimize space utilization. Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock movement and accuracy. Conduct regular inspections and audits of warehouse facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to cargo handling and storage. Train and develop warehouse staff to enhance skills and performance. Qualifications/Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the aviation industry. Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
