Airfreight rate negotiation with BDP Offices and agents
Preparing quotation to the client including freight and insurance (if required) and follow-up
Monitor and data maintenance of quotations and win-loss ratio
Keep track record for airline contract rates (validity/expiry)
Maintain healthy relation with agents
Operation
Coordinating with Ground Handling Agent for Cargo Arrival and Delivery Order readiness
Execution of customs clearance in accordance with UAE customs rules and regulations including submission of original documents
Coordinating with customer and dispatch team for cargo delivery
Ensure cargo delivery in good condition with POD
On time creation of Job Costing Sheet once full delivery is done to finance for invoicing
Alert and update the shipment details on BDP system
Customer Service
Ensure on time update of cargo status to customer
Understand customers clearance requirement and instruction i.e duty exempted, import for re-export etc.
Inform customer with the clearance requirements prior to cargo arrival
On time invoicing of customer,48 hours after cargo delivery
