Job Description

Job Purpose:
To supervise the Transguard scanning team and ensure scanning projects are delivered to schedules. To ensure the collation of files are on schedule timelines and provide second level indexing in the scanned records ensuring that the Stream system is delivering to the End of Lease EOL process.Job Outline:

Supervise progress and prioritise the streaming of aircraft records scanning projects in line with the project milestones, support the scanning teams and ensure they are producing the defined numbers of boxes per day.
Complete all second level indexing to ensure that all indexes are complete and accurate for the files.
Quality audit all scanned files for correctness and ensure they are accurate and ready to be used.
Coordinate all extraction requests and ensure that all corrected paperwork is scanned and replaced in to the archive.
Ensure that all technical queries received from the Asset Management are documented and are actioned in a timely manner.
Ensure that each assigned project transition work space in STREAM (T-VAS) system is set up and is populated on a day to day basis and that all Optical Character Recognition (OCR) updates are on target.
To review work practices and suggest changes/improvement to the manager where applicable.

Qualifications:

12 Years schooling or equivalent.

Experience:

Engineering 3+ Years.
Experience in Technical records or Asset Management.

Knowledge/skills:

Knowledge of documents required for maintenance purposes.
Able to manage and motivate a team in a high pressure environment.
Knowledge of MS Office applications and also ULTRAMAIN.
