About the job Agriculture ManagerDate Posted: 21-03-2024Position: Agriculture ManagerLocation: Fujairah, Fujairah, United Arab EmiratesNationality South Africa, New zealand , EuropeAge max 55Must have exp in Mango & CitrusContract Details: Full-timeKey Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the farm- Manage and supervise a team of farm workers, providing guidance and training as needed- Ensure proper care and maintenance of crops, livestock, and farm equipment- Monitor and analyze crop yields, production costs, and market trends to make informed decisions- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute farm activities, such as planting, harvesting, and irrigation- Maintain accurate records of farm operations, including inventory, expenses, and sales- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in agriculture to improve efficiency and productivityRequirements:- Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a managerial role in agriculture- Extensive knowledge of crop production, livestock management, and farm operations- Strong leadership and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software- Knowledge of local and international agricultural markets is a plus- Fluency in English, both written and spokenSalary AED 25000-30000 + family benefits
