Job Description

Role Purpose/Summary:

o Oversee and manage the agriculture and landscape activities in the owners' private premises.

o Responsible to identify issues and achieve solutions to increase productivity and ensure that all the farms, gardens, plants, etc. in the owners' premises are at best state and meet highest standard of quality.

o Manage landscape and/or agriculture projects in coordination with stakeholders and ensure meeting projects goals within the agreed timeframe and budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

o Conduct regular inspections for all farms and gardens of owner's private facilities.

o Directs and coordinates farm workers' activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, and gardening activities.

o Supervise farm workersto maintain and care for the plants, gardens, and farms.

o Prepare and conduct training for the farm workers to ensure they meet the desired quality of work. o Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.

o Organize maintenance plan and repair of farm property, equipment, and machinery in owner's private facilities and monitor its implementation.

o Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests/complaints.

o Plan and supervise all pest control activitiesin coordination with third party facilities. o Ensure the implementation of planting programsfor farm or garden in the assigned facilities.

o Supervise and monitor the irrigation system used for distributing water to soft landscape plants.

o Manage and oversee the landscape and irrigation activities. o Monitor irrigation networks and pumpsin all areas.

o Application of fertilization programs for all trees & shrubs, ground covers and flowers.

o Manage projects related to landscape, irrigation, agriculture (planting, gardening, etc.) and ensure its implementation as per the approved requirements by the owner.

o Monitor the projects progress as per the submitted program by the contractor to take appropriate action to catch the delay.

o Coordinate with key stakeholdersto ensure smooth project completion. o Interact with vendors to ensure the quality of all purchased machinery, plants, fertilisers, etc.

o Conduct and supervise the testing of mechanical and electrical systems on agricultural and landscape construction equipment.

o Handles troubleshoot problems that may come up during installation of irrigation system and during usage.

o Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate or assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

o Bachelor's degree in landscape/agricultural engineering, or related field.

o 3 - 5 years' experience in relative field.

o Extensive Knowledge of Agriculture.
