Our client, a children recreational activity company is seeking to hire a After School Activities Program Manager for their office based in Dubai.Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated After School Activities Program Manager to oversee and manage a comprehensive after school program for a service provider in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. The candidate must have a strong background in education and the capability to develop innovative and trending curriculum.Job Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Design and implement a diverse range of after school activities that cater to various age groups, interests, and abilities. Activities may include sports, arts and crafts, music, drama, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), and homework support. Create and maintain innovative and trending curricula that engage children and support their development.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of qualified staff, including teachers, activity leaders, and volunteers. Ensure all staff adhere to program policies and maintain high standards of safety and care.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of activities. Coordinate with schools, parents, and community organizations to optimize program offerings and participation.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the program budget, including allocating funds for supplies, staff salaries, and other operational expenses. Seek additional funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and safety standards. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures.
  • Parent and Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians. Communicate regularly to provide updates on program activities, address concerns, and gather feedback. Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions and continuous improvements. Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and participant satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the program and increase enrollment. Utilize various platforms including social media, local media, and community events to raise awareness.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, nurseries, and community centers to enhance program visibility and accessibility. Collaborate with these partners to align activities with educational goals and community needs.
  • Design, promote, and successfully run camps during school breaks and vacations to create a value-added positive impact on children. Ensure the camps are engaging, educational, and safe, providing a memorable experience for participants.
  • Set and achieve targets for both the after-school program and camps. Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to meet enrollment and financial goals.
Education & other requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in related areas are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing children's programs, particularly in an educational or recreational setting. Experience in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.
  • Native English speaker is required. Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Child Safeguarding certifications are required. Additional safety training certifications are a plus.
  • Must pass a thorough background check.

Salary; Upto AED 20000Working days: 5 days a week
