Role overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our resort's maintenance team. The role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures to ensure the resort's facilities are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of woodwork and related hardware.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications.
• Respond to repair requests and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, ideally in a hospitality or similar setting.
• Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of wood properties, finishes, and joinery techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and on-call rotations as required.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• High School prebarably diploma
• 2 years Relevant on the job experience or technical qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Carpentery: 2 years (Required)
