Job no: 4342060 Location: UAE Dubai Head Office eCommerce eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 75+ brands and 15+ countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshayas multi-channel capability to deliver customers choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.
Role: Affiliate Marketing Officer The Affiliate Marketing Officer works within and supports the Affiliate Marketing team within the Performance Marketing & Online team, to positively impact the Alshaya eCommerce business and customer experience. Working with the Affiliate Manager and team, this role has responsibility and for the management of all link-based Affiliate Marketing within eCommerce including the campaigning and trading of these activities, the development of strategy and the management of media partner and external relationships. This role:
Works within the Affiliate Marketing team, reporting to the Affiliate Marketing Manager, inside the Digital Marketing team.
Is jointly responsible for the management, development and performance of the Affiliate Marketing channel within eCommerce.
Trading
Support the management and development of the Affiliate Marketing channel to support and achieve each brands eCommerce Business Plan and the Business Plan for total eCommerce.
Plan and manage the Affiliate Marketing budget, as part of the total eCommerce marketing spend and in close conjunction with the Acquisition Senior Manager, to meet marketing channel targets, eCommerce ROI targets and deliver the P&L.
Campaigning
Plan and execute marketing campaigns across eCommerce Affiliate Marketing networks and affiliates as per each brand campaign plan
Continuously review and optimise all aspects of campaign performance to improve channel KPIs including but not limited to CPC, CPS, CPO, CPA and ROI.
Work with the design team, content teams, brand team, other internal stakeholders, and external partners, to create engaging advertising copy and content to improve the customer experience and media performance via CTR and other marketing metrics.
Lead on quality control and performance across all Affiliate Marketing activity, including but not limited to the review of affiliate profiles, the recruitment of affiliates, and the pre-launch review of campaigns and content.
Expertise
Maintain an up to date, expert level of knowledge within your field of expertise and across your professional network and remain aware of key industry developments and innovations and their application to Alshaya.
Key Skills
At least 2 years of working in Affiliate Marketing within an eCommerce business to drive awareness, lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition.
Strong understanding and experience of how to leverage Affiliate network relationships to grow Affiliate programs and drive customer acquisition and revenue to meet channel and company objectives
Strong understanding and experience of mobile and app marketing, to achieve install, engagement and conversion goals.
Good commercial acumen and awareness of how to affect profit from any given activity.
Ability to react to change and make smart, fast decisions.
Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
Good presentation skills and the ability to show complex issues in an engaging way.
Confident self-starter and organised project manager with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
