Title: AFCAP V UAE: Site ManagerBelong, Connect, Grow with KBR!PROGRAM SUMMARY:KBRS AFCAP V group provides ongoing support and operations services to the United States Air Force. The Security Escort Program acts as an integrated member of the unit providing operations continuity during rotation of personnel for OCN/LN personnel. KBR follows all AFCENT and local base escort policies at the three site locations to include Kuwait (AASAB - Ali Al Salem Air Base), UAE (ADAB - Al Dhafra Air Base), and Saudi Arabia (PSAB - Prince Sultan Air Base).POSITION SUMMARY:Under limited direction from the Program Manager of a Government Services (GS) project, responsible for the daily operations of all activities of a small to modest sized project located on site in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Locations are often on a military or government post, base, facility or grounds.RESPONSIBILITIES:The AFCAP V Site Manager serves as the day-to day representative for the contract with the customer.Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the technical and administrative sides of a project including reports, staffing, personnel management, etc. to ensure contract compliance.Responsibilities may include but not limited to transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, contract changes, etc.Solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. Provide guidance to less experienced team members.Responsible for managing day-to-day site operations.It is the Site Managers duty to maintain a safe workplace, ensure that time and budgetary restrictions are followed, and quality standards are met.A Site Manager must demonstrate skill in these areas and emphasize experience in related positions and activities.MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities. The ability to drive company provided vehicles on and off base.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection,Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major study in one or more areas of appropriate field of construction, business, or engineering. Job.
