1. Job Purpose ( Female)
The General Practitioner provides clinical leadership and professional medical direction to the Clinic as well as offers consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with conditions commonly found in GP practice. The role includes health screening and health promotion services to patients, provision of appropriate onward referrals, patient advice, follow up consultations and prescription services.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Provides GP consultations to patients face to face and remotely were permitted
Uses innovative monitoring and diagnostic technologies for the improvement of patient health and to promote general wellbeing
Should be a key resource for patients as they learn to manage their health with the different types of revolutionary treatments.
Directly involved in answering clinical questions from patients.
Will be responsible for training of nurses and other doctors on the medical aspects of the treatments offered by the Business.
Assist in the establishment and implementation of goals, objective, policies, procedures and systems for all operational areas of the clinic.
Assists in the development of long-range plans and cost-effective measures.
Participate in the development and review of appropriate protocols that support consistent care.
Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all patients records according to Clinical standards.
Ensure all patients have their needs met and receive appropriate attention.
Ensure that all procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards.
Influences and facilitates change in order to improve standards of care.
Anticipates, recognizes and manages emergencies, and unsafe situations/practice, and initiates appropriate and timely intervention.
Promotes an environment that enables patient safety, independence, quality of life and health.
Keeps updated with the latest innovation and advancements in the area of expertise.
Provides excellent patient care and feedback.
Prepare reports when necessary.
Maintains the strictest confidentiality and performs all duties in a professional manner.
2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and Duties
Guide and mentor junior and new staff.
Encourage multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Disseminate and implement Medical policies & procedures.
Adhere to the Company's telephone standards.
Any other projects / duties as directed by Management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
2.3 Customer Service
Adhere to the overall goal of Faster-Better-Friendlier service.
Ensure correct information is available for cashier to charge.
Adhere to the hospitals telephone standards.
2.4 Personal responsibilities

2.5 Staff Management
Provide oversight and managerial guidance of direct reports.
Will be responsible for training of nurses and other doctors on the medical aspects of the treatments.
3. Job Requirements
3.1 Skills and Knowledge
Analytical, quantitative and communication skills (written & verbal).
Practical knowledge of hospital operations.
Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel
3.2 Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Must have an MBBS Degree from a recognized institution and be eligible to practice medicine
The ideal candidate must have a relevant medical license to practice in U.A.E. or be eligible to obtain DOH License
Should have undergone mandatory certified training such as BLS, ACLS, Infection control, Health and Safety training and obtained the required certifications.
3.3 Professional Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a General Practitioner
Must have clinical or hospital experience
3.4 Personal Traits
Should be presentable, have good manners and be professional at all times
Should be proactive and take initiative
Should be positive, self-motivated and flexible
Should have good organisational and time management skills
4. Supervision Given
Supervises the Nurses assisting with treatments and patient care
5. Supervision Received
Reports to the Medical Director
