Job Summary
As an Advisory Surveyor deployed within the Advisory team, which comprises of Asset, Project Monitoring, P3 Technical, Risk Management, Program, Strategy+, Procurement and Construction Business Intelligence services, you would be involved in the delivery of services, participating in activities such as reviews, assessments, reporting and advising clients on a wide range of projects across built asset and infrastructure sectors.
Role & Responsibilities
• Input into the delivery of core Asset Advisory services and commissions such as operational cost estimates, life cycle cost analysis, operational design reviews, maintenance specifications, carbon cost analysis, and asset condition assessment.
• Supporting the ESG Advisory business line from an asset perspective, undertaking embodied carbon and whole life carbon assessments.
• Involvement in marketing and business development, including client presentations and general promotion and awareness-raising activities.
• Working on the development of the service offering including conducting marketing activities targeting both internal and external clients, and product development.
• Carrying out technical research and data collection activities, facilitating data management for reporting purposes and applying analytical skills to enhance core service deliverables.
• Interviewing client employees, management team and other stakeholders.
• Preparing and facilitating workshops.
• Conducting problem solving and strategic thinking to add value to core service deliverables.
• Preparing and presenting recommendation papers, reports, process, procedure and system manuals.
• Formulating and implementing recommendations/solutions.
• Technical report writing in accordance with international standards.
• Ensuring the client receives the assistance needed to implement the recommendations / solutions.
Qualifications
The candidate should hold a Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited University in a relevant discipline such as Construction Economics + Management, Planning + Development, Strategy, Asset Management, Real Estate Investment + Finance, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management or Facilities Management.
Post graduate qualifications, membership of relevant professional bodies (such as RICS, IAM and CIoB) and Middle East experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The candidate may be looking to obtain membership of a professional body and develop/broaden their experience to do so, for which support will be available.
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience looking to develop their experience in a range Advisory Services as part of a growing team.
