• Must have Mechanical Engineering degree
• More than 10 years of experience in Oil/GAS EPC project is a must.
• Must have ADNOC approval as Construction Manager
• General management of Construction sites (Construction, QC, HSE, Material, Manpower, Budget etc.)
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.
• Lead a multi-discipline team of Structural/Mechanical/Piping/Pipeline together with Civil, Electrical and Instrument disciplines.
• Manage the construction effort and be the construction representative of our company with Client.
• Prepares, supervises and approves the development of projects and its implementation plus ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project including Project Close-out.
• To plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan.
• Plan for the required resources at site and responsible in obtaining all necessary resources, materials and engineering deliverables for the successful execution of the Project.
• Coordinate arrangements between Key personnel and subcontractors to provide appropriate work site access to all parties.
• Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
• Perform construction activities in accordance with schedule and all technical requirements.
• Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
• Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction durations and resource requirements.
• Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Planning Engineers and arrange construction activities during execution.
• Monitor and report to Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
• Support Project Manager on budget changes/variations depending on the changes of construction quantities.
• Know and understand ASTRA QHSE Policy and comply all safety rules and company policies meeting all requirements of the IMS Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of ASTRA.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by Company.
