Aldar Education are seeking an outstanding Administrative Assistant for Yas American Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing immediately.

Minimum Qualifications :
• High School Certificate or bachelor's degree
• Proficient in operating PC, Facsimile, Photocopier, Telex and various office machines, including working knowledge of prevailing popular application software and spreadsheets.
• Good Communication Skills
Minimum Experience:
• At least two-year experience in School field
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills :
• Fluent English communication skills, written and oral.
• Arabic speaker is preferable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
• Excellent office management skills

Main Duties :
• Attend all administration team meetings
• Typing and branding of official documents and letters for parents
• Receiving, directing and responding to emails of behalf of the Leadership Team as appropriate
• Liaise with teaching and non-teaching staff and respond to enquiries on matters within the postholder's responsibility
• Link to Aldar HQ for all related issues/tasks
Specific Duties:
• Design new documents, where necessary, to improve school effectiveness
• Attend any training deemed necessary in relation to the role of Admin Support
• Support school staff on any other requirements
• Maintaining up to date records for all students on engage
• Mail merge letters to provide a more personalised service for parents and attached to DMS system
• Responsible for all communications to parents including Homework, Educational visits and invitations to events
• Ensure all fire registers are up to date and accurate for the School
• Process any student leavers forms for whole school, update Engage and forward to Admissions
• Responsible for arranging the cover of teachers in times of absence
