We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our mission.
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and organized operations at IIQAF. This individual should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and can work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for Islamic economics and finance and be eager to learn and grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars
- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails on time
- Maintain and update records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in preparing and editing reports, presentations, and other documents
- Conduct research and gather information for various projects and presentations
- Coordinate and book travel arrangements for team members as needed
- Prepare and process expense reports and invoices
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and order new supplies when needed
- Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by management
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Knowledge and interest in Islamic economics and finance is a plus
