Position Overview:
We are seeking a competent HR Assistant supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager
Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes.
Assist in recruitment process - posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
Prepare and update new hire packets and onboarding materials.
Assist in organizing and conducting new employee orientation programs.
Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database/system.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal communications.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
• Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular).
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• BS degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
